Jenoptik Optical systems, Inc. announces the hiring of Rudy Marek as the Quality Manager and Lean Coordinator for the Easthampton facility. Rudy will be directing the efforts in the facility to implement lean manufacturing principles and further drive our ISO processes.
ISO auditor and LEAN experieince
Rudy comes to JENOPTIK with experience in quality management and optical manufacturing from both the semiconductor equipment and telecom equipment manufacturers. Most recently with ASML (Wilton, CT), Rudy was production supervisor in their continuous polishing department. His experience there includes leading a Quality Circle Team responsible for value stream maps to reduce cycle times and identify areas for process improvement.
For 5 years prior with JDS Uniphase (Bloomfield, CT), Rudy worked as a team leader and cell coordinator for production of telecom modulators at JDS.
Trained in Lean Manufacturing at JDSU, Rudy is also a Green Belt in Six Sigma and certified as a TL 9001 quality auditor.
Rudy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western new England College and also served with distinction in the United States Air Force.
